 « Welcome »  Turning the Curve of Infrastructural Dormancy to a Restoration of its Facilities

 Years of civil war and other reasons caused most of the company's facilities around the country to lied idle in ruin due to lack of maintenance and repeated looting. Previous management teams started the resuscitation of the company's facilities but the processes were stalled by either legal or other impediments.

The current management team is now turning the curve of dormant and failed infrastructure to a full restoration of its facilities. For instance, the Crude Storage Terminal located within the perimeter of the Freeport of Monrovia which has not been operational but dormant for three decades has been fully rehabilitated, refurbished, upgraded and reconstructed to the standard of the American Petroleum Institute (API) under a Consolidated Leased Management Agreement with a local petroleum company, Conex Petroleum Group Incorporated. 
To date, the importation, storing & handling of Heavy Fuel Oil has resumed since it was halted nearly thirty years ago.
Similarly, after a very tedious and rigorous procurement process that drew over 20 engineering and construction firms from around the world, the management consummated a  contract with  a dynamic engineering, procurement, and construction company, Lutech  Engineering & Project Management Consultants (FZC) for the complete reconstruction of the company's main Product Storage Terminal on the Bushrod Island in Monrovia.
When completed, the first phase of the PST Rehabilitation project will contain ten storage tanks; four for Gasoline, (PMS) three for Diesel Fuel (AGO), 1 for Aviation Treated Kerosene and accumulation of sludge along with a fire water tank equipped with a sprinkler system.
When finished, the terminal will be a state-of- the art, fully automated with two weigh bridges and two loading racks, a control room and a terminal operations building. 
Already a modern fuel Unloading Facility(FUF) equipped with a modern petroleum testing laboratory has been constructed and dedicated as replacement for the over 60 years  old dilapidated jetty that have outlived its usefulness. When commissioned, the new jetty will reduce the vessel discharge period and totally eliminate the payment of demurrage by LPRC.
this aggressive restoration of the company's storage and handling facility is not only a new beginning in turning the curve of infrastructure dormancy but to make the country more fuel secure.
