In quest of its desire to fast track the completion of the Product Storage Terminal (PST) Rehabilitation & Expansion Project, the Senior Management of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company led by company's Managing Director, Mrs. Marie Urey-Coleman on September 13, 2019 toured the new Operations Building.
The tour was led by the Site Supervisor of LUTECT Engineering & Construction, LTD, the firm hired to implement the PST Rehabilitation & Expansion Project, Mr. P. R. Goparmar and Mr. Bob Gizzie, Acting Assistant Manager of the Planning & Project Department of LPRC.
The Managing Director and team trekked and inspected every room of the four storey building during which they inquired about the quality and safety standard of materials being used. Answering to the many inquires, Mr. Bob Even Gizzie said “we have a rigorous quality control procedure that subjects every material used on the PST rehabilitation and expansion project to a predefined quality assurance test to meet the quality as indicated in the contract."
For his part Mr. Goparkar informed the managing director that the building will be completed early November.
During the tour Mrs. Urey-Coleman chatted and interacted with technicians and casuals working on the project and expressed delight on the level of work been done and thanked the combined team of LUTECH Construction LTD and LPRC engineers and technicians.
